What is a coach?
A coach is a person who collaborates with the client and supports them in identifying and working towards a goal related to an aspect of the client’s life, thereby promoting growth and self-development.  Essentially it is a series of conversations that will influence an individual’s understanding, learning, behaviour and progress.

 

How is coaching different from counselling/therapy?
Coaching focuses on the present and the future, supporting the client in seeking solutions to a problem or difficulty being experienced in the present.

Counselling looks to the client’s past to find the cause of problems or difficulties being experienced in the present.

 

Do you work with private or business clients?
I work with both private clients and clients who are being sponsored by their company.

 

Do you work with groups or individual clients?
I work with individual clients, couples and groups.

 

Can I meet you before I decide to become your client?
Yes, of course.  We can have a chat online or by telephone.  There is no charge for this and there is no obligation for you to go further with Calm Blue Coaching.

 

Will I have work to do at home?
Almost certainly, yes.

 

How often will we meet?
Usually every week or every two weeks.

 

How many appointments will I need?
This is dependent upon the individual.

 

How long will it take for me to see results?
Again, this is dependent upon the individual.

 

Can I have both face to face & online appointments?
Yes, that is no problem.

 

What if I need to cancel an appointment?
You can contact me via What’s App, telephone or email to let me know you need to cancel.

Appointments should be cancelled with at least 24-hour’s notice, otherwise the full cost of the appointment will be charged.

 

What if I need to rearrange an appointment?
You can contact me via What’s App, telephone or email to rearrange an appointment.  Again, the 24-hour notice rule applies.

 

Is coaching confidential?
Yes, unless keeping a piece of information confidential is contrary to the law.

 

What happens to my personal details once my coaching is completed?
They are disposed of in accordance with Dutch data protection law.

 

How do I pay?
Via bank transfer into my bank account.

 

When do I pay?
An invoice will be sent prior to your appointment, and payment must be received before the appointment takes place.
